3D Make a wireframe
IN: Draw the wireframe - define the line types - select details. OUT: 3D-mesh and flatten shapes including all the details

2D Select the edge types
Flatten shape is already formed based on the fabric behavior. Next you define where you want zippers, reinforcements, pockets for frames, etc..

Done
Now you have the project done and the line layered. Cut lines, pen lines, notches and all other details you defined.
